Too tired to think of a title.
Well, I've had a pretty busy week for once. Especially in the last three days or so. The first few days of the week I was kept happy with the season premiers of Arrested Development and Lost, both of which were frickin' awesome. And of course there was youth and church on Tuesday and Wednesday, so that was fun. Thursday night I hung out with Gemma and Jess. We were going to watch a movie, but I don't think we were too involved in it, so we shut it off and watched a few episodes of Arrested Development instead. Not sure how much they enjoyed it, especially with me talking about it non-stop. Probably getting annoying to some people for sure. But I had fun hanging out with them and was glad to get out at all. Friday afternoon I hung out with J-Ro for a few hours at his house. Somehow I think he just wanted me to be there so he could have a ride and play Burnout Revenge. He got to play it longer during the rental period than I did. After awhile Jess called, so after I grabbed some supper we went to her place. J-Ro was being a moocher like usual, getting free meals and services, but at least he's thankful. I have to admit that he knows how to charm people. After he finished mooching we went to Movie Gallery and visited Darrek and got a couple of movies. We watched some movie called A Lot like Love (I think that was the title). It was strictly average and I didn't care for it much, but I enjoyed hanging out so I had no reason to complain. I think we're still going to watch the other movie sometime so I have higher hopes for that. Today I spent a couple of hours making sausage chili for tomorrow's church potluck. This is the third or fourth time I've made it, but I still had some help from my mom. What would I do without her? After supper I went to the youth event at the Hopkins', which was fun of course. So that's what my last few days have been like. I have no idea whats' going on tomorrow. There's church and the potluck, and I think I'm going to my sister's to watch Aliens, but otherwise who knows. I'll have to find out if/when we're watching that other movie I guess.

The only two Alien movies that aren't bashed by fans are the first two. Alien (which is more of a horror film) and Aliens (which is more of an action/sci fi film). Those two are considered classics while the others are all hated. A bit of a warning though, Aliens is packed with cursing. God's name is abused a lot and it's full of F-words. The first movie isn't quite as bad, but has a few of each.
And I have no idea what Alien 3000 is. Sounds like a straight to video movie trying to rip off the well known franchise. I'd steer clear. But then you loved Alien vs. Predator, so who knows.
Jess, you two weren't very psycho. I'm sure I'll get used to the two of you whispering over conversations on msn after awhile. And I did hear you laughing while watching AD. I don't really know what I was talking about in my post since I was half asleep when I typed it up.
hahahaahaha, ya, its true that life at a secular university is a little..well no..a BIG change...i dont know...i guess its fun for the most part but im always missing my group of christian friends back home and how sheltered i used to be....
but hopefully God can use me here right? so who knows, it may be a good thing to be at a non christian university...though i deff wouldnt recommend it to anyone that could be easily swayed to follow the crowd...cause ya, im pretty secure in my faith and well, im just too stubborn to give in to ppl lol! and actually, i dont feel pressured too much at all cause like, most ppl here know where i stand now, so like they accept that i dont drink or party so it makes things a lot easier, whereas my friends who used to just casual drink get pressured into chugging, etc until they are wasted out of their minds...
so ya, it is a bit scary at times, but im still enjoying myself for the most part aside from all the work hahahaha
and thanks for the heads up on the alien movies...and i cant believe ppl didnt like AVP???? like whats wrong with those ppl?? lol
in other news...i am pumped for chronicles of narnia to come out! :)! and batman begins when it comes on dvd...o ya! that was a good movie...
well, im back to the books later days
and ps, thats awesome that my blog wasnt too long for u...i always have ppl saying i write too much! lol
Yeah, I've already decided to grow my hair long. I just said screw it and I'm not going to do a thing with it. Just let it grow and let it do what it wants. It's not like I care what I look like anyways.
